Topos Series

Topos: Greek for Place

The Topos Series is inspired by the beauty and diversity of our natural world. These studies range in perspective from aerial to earth bound to subterranean. In doing so I hoped to create the vastness and a more intimate view of our habitat. I used gesso and in some cases powdered charcoal, mica and crushed glass to give these pieces a physicality.

The Topos Series was created to pay tribute and honor this place we call home.
